OREM, Utah, July 21, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Police have identified a 25-year-old motorcyclist who died after a crash in Orem early Sunday morning.

The deceased is Lloyd John Lewis, 25, from Provo, according to Orem Police Department Lt. Trent Colledge.

Colledge told Gephardt Daily the incident happened on Geneva Road near 400 North, at approximately 2:20 a.m., when Lewis lost control of the bike and crashed. The bike went off the left side of the roadway, toward the border with Vineyard.

There were no other vehicles involved in the accident, Colledge said, and it appeared that speed may have been a contributing factor.
