Utah Avalanche Center reports large slide, urges care near steep terrain

The Utah Avalanche Center released two views of a large avalanche that occurred on Saturday, March 26, 2022.

UTAH, March 26, 2022 (Gephardt Daily) — The Utah Avalanche Center is asking drivers and outdoor recreation enthusiast to be careful under the current warming conditions.

“Large natural wet avalanche reported on east Kessler Peak running across the summer road,” the organization’s statement says.

“AVOID being on or beneath steep terrain today and Sunday.”
