Utah COVID-19 update: 169 new cases, no more deaths documented in past day

UTAH, June 14, 2021 (Gephardt Daily) — The Utah Department of Health on Monday announced 169 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed in the past day, and no additional deaths.

Confirmed cases in Utah since the start of the pandemic now stand at 409,727. Total known coronavirus deaths here remain at 2,323, the same number as Sunday.

Lab tests have been given to 2,740,602, an increase of 2,102 in the past day.

Total tests administered number 5,011,051, an increase of 3,325 tests since yesterday.

Vaccines administered numberĀ 2,738,493, an increase of 3,705 since Sunday.

The rolling seven-day average for positive tests is 276 per day.

The rolling seven-day average for percent positivity of “people over people” is 7.1%. The rolling seven-day average for percent positivity of “tests over tests” is 4.7%.

There are 153 people currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Total hospitalizations from the beginning of the outbreak are 17,103.
