West Valley City police searching for man suspected of robbing bank at gunpoint

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah, Nov. 8, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — West Valley City police officials are searching for a man suspected of robbing a Zions Bank at gunpoint Wednesday evening.

The incident took place at the bank at 2950 W. 3500 South just before 6 p.m., the West Valley City Police Department said in a Facebook post.

“These are great photos, folks,” the post said. “Please share them until we ID him and if you recognize this man, or know anything about this crime, please call. You can remain anonymous.”

The man is described as Caucasian, between 18 and 25 years old, between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 7 inches tall, with dark hair and brown eyes, wearing a black beanie with a gray stripe, black hoodie, gray pants and black shoes, with a tattoo on his right hand.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information about the robbery is asked to call the WVCPD on 801-840-4000.
