KEARNS, Utah, Aug. 22, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — A woman is in critical condition after a two-vehicle crash in Kearns Thursday evening.
The incident occurred in the intersection of 4800 W. 5400 South at approximately 6:55 p.m., Unified Police Department Sgt. Melody Gray told Gephardt Daily.
Gray said a woman was driving eastbound on 5400 South and went to make a left turn onto 4800 West, where she struck an SUV coming towards her on 5400 South.
The woman was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
The man driving the SUV was not hurt, Gray said.
It’s not thought at this time that impairment contributed to the crash.
