SOUTH JORDAN, Utah, April 8, 2020 (Bill’s Marketplace/Gephardt Daily/*Sponsored) — John Holland, the affable, straight-shooting, no-nonsense owner-and-operator of All Utah Plumbing, Heating & Air is a believer — a believer in himself, a believer in his team, and a believer most of all in what he considers his company’s foremost responsibility — to ensure the health of his clients’ homes.
“That commitment is central to what we do, ” John said in an interview with Bill’s Marketplace. “And what we do is an essential service. Essential to health, essential to safety, essential to a clean household environment.
“It’s all part of the plumber’s creed and something we’ve believed in and practiced for a long, long time — long before COVID-19 showed up, and it’s something we will uphold long after it’s gone.
“Helping our customers maintain a safe and healthy environment is the core of our overall mission after all, and it’s why I came up with our company’s motto, ‘We want to heal your home.’
“In order to ensure that happens, you have to do the job right. There’s a lot more riding on what we do than performing a simple repair. It’s about serving people and maintaining the sanctity of their homes. It’s also about pride, integrity, and doing what you say you’re going to do.
“So, when it comes to dealing with concerns over COVID-19, I want folks to rest assured, we’re well equipped to handle whatever job you need done. We’re experts in maintaining clean work environments and trained in the handling of hazardous materials. We also perform deep cleaning on furnace and air conditioning systems, along with plumbing surfaces like pipes, faucets, drains and countertops.
“We also make sure every member of team is healthy before they come to work. If you have the sniffles, you’re staying home,” John said with a smile. “I’m definitely a believer in social distancing.”
Pride, integrity, gumption: prized attributes at All Utah Plumbing, Heating & Air, values instilled in John when he was just a lad. Working side-by-side with his father, and under the watchful eye of his mom who helped with “keeping the books,” John helped build his family’s home. It was then and there the teenager realized he had a knack for construction, especially plumbing. He also found great satisfaction in completing a job well-done.
It wasn’t long before John was out on his own, working professionally, earning a paycheck, and learning as much as he could from the professionals around him.
John soon realized his innate abilities, coupled with a “wry sense of humor and rugged good looks,” made him a bosses’ favorite. He showed up early, stayed late, and became known as a problem solver.
Working steadily through the ranks, John became an expert in construction and renovation. He also became a certified master plumber and a licensed general contractor.
After 22 years of honing his expertise, John fulfilled a lifelong ambition and became his own boss. In 2011, he founded All Utah Plumbing, Heating & Air and has never looked back.
Now, nearly a decade later, John maintains a thriving business, staffed by top professionals – a business based on integrity, know-how, and respect for the customer’s home.
“If you’re in need of a repair these days, whether it’s an emergency plumbing job in the middle of the night, or cleaning and repairing a furnace or air conditioner, our team is ready to go, 24 hours a day,” John said.
“We are an essential business, and we are here for you. Let us heal your home.”
