CLEVELAND, June 12 (UPI) — Viewers of the NBA Finals got more than they bargained for Thursday night, when a live ABC camera caught a quick flash of LeBron James‘ genitals on the court before tipoff of game 4.

As the teams were huddling on the court, a ground-level camera fixed on Cavaliers star LeBron James caught the momentary flash as he tweaked his jersey and shorts.

The incident quickly became a topic of discussion on social media channels like Twitter.

“Best way to defend LeBron is to get him to show his [expletive] on TV,” one person tweeted.

Thursday’s accidental flash evoked memories of Janet Jackson‘s infamous “wardrobe malfunction” — during which Justin Timberlake tore open a patch of the singer’s clothing during halftime at Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2004.

The Federal Communications Commission fined CBS $550,000 for the incident, which was later vacated by the U.S. Supreme Court.

The Golden State Warriors won Thursday’s game 103-82 to even the best-of-seven NBA Finals at two games apiece.

James is looking to deliver Cleveland’s first major sports championship since the NFL’s Browns won that league’s title in 1964 — six years before the NFL merged with the rival AFL — and break the infamous “Cleveland Sports Curse.”

In the last 50 years, several Cleveland teams have come tantalizingly close to winning a championship — only to collapse at the finish line.

The 1997 Indians held a lead going into the bottom of the ninth inning of World Series game 7, only to surrender the tying run and ultimately lose the game — and the series — in extra innings.

The Browns came within one game of the Super Bowl in 1987, but were denied by John Elway‘s infamous “Drive” — which led the Denver Broncos to a last-minute comeback victory.

James’ own Cavaliers advanced to the NBA Finals in 2007 — but were beaten 4-games-to-none by the San Antonio Spurs.

Game 5 is set for Sunday back in Oakland and will be broadcast by ABC at 8 p.m. EDT.
