July 8 (UPI) — Krystal Keith — the daughter of country music star Toby Keith — says she, her husband and toddler are lucky to be alive after a “horrific” car crash this week.
“Our 4th turned pretty horrific. Hensley, Drew and I were on the way to watch fireworks on the 4th,” Krystal Keith said in an Instagram post Friday. “A drunk driver almost took the lives of my entire family. We all survived the wreck but it’s gonna take some time to heal. Keep us in your prayers. Hug your babies and spouses tight. DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE.”
The message captioned a photo of the family’s white SUV with the front end demolished.
Krystal Keith did not say where Tuesday’s collision took place nor did she offer details regarding the injuries she and her family suffered.
E! News said Keith, her husband Drew Sandubrae and their 1 1/2-year-old daughter live in Oklahoma.
