Police: Worker Upgraded To Fair Condition After Electrical Shock

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, May 12, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — A 27-year-old man has been upgraded from critical to fair condition after he received a severe electrical shock while working in The Avenues Tuesday morning, police said.

Salt Lake City police Det. Greg Wilking said the accident happened at 10:32 a.m. at 668 E. 17th Ave. Wilking said the man was cleaning rain gutters, and one of the gutters came into contact with a live power line.

The man initially was transported to the hospital in critical condition, but was upgraded to serious condition later Tuesday and fair condition Wednesday.
