UPDATE: Homicide Suspect Arrested After Man’s Body was Found in Ogden Street

OGDEN, UTAH – July 7, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – A suspect in the Ogden homicide in which a man was found lying in the middle of a road has been booked into the Weber County Jail.  Ogden City Police Department said Andrew Dominic Esquer, 31,  has been charged with homicide and obstruction of justice.
Ogden Police yesterday identified a man who was found dead in an Ogden street earlier that morning.

Ogden dispatch received a call around 4 a.m. reporting that there was an individual laying in the roadway near 2964 Childs Ave.

Once officers arrived they found William Patrick Hicks, 32, dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

The Ogden City Police Department Major Crimes Bureau and the Weber County Homicide Task Force are currently pursuing significant leads resulting in multiple search warrants and interviews.

The investigation is currently ongoing and further information will be released when appropriate.
