AirMed responds to ‘major accident’ in Heber City

HEBER CITY, Utah, Aug. 4, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — AirMed is responding to what officials are calling a “major accident” in Heber City Saturday afternoon.

Heber City Police Department officials posted on Facebook at 3:30 p.m. that drivers are being advised to avoid the area of U.S. Highway 40 in the area of the Back 40 restaurant, which is located at 1223 N. Highway 40.

“There is a major accident and we need to land the helicopter,” the post says. “Please help us prevent any further accidents and avoid the area.”

Officials did not give further details of how many vehicles are involved in the accident or the extent of the injuries.
