HERRIMAN, Utah, Nov. 1, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Herriman police are working to identify a man who allegedly robbed a candy store on Halloween dressed in a Spider-Man costume.

Herriman officials said the man entered the Salt City Sweet Shop, 5136 W. 13400 South, at approximately 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Employees told police the man brandished a gun and a stun gun, and forced them to give him cash from the till and from the locked safe in the back of the store.

The man then made the two employees lie on the floor as he ran from the store, so they did not see in what direction he fled or whether on foot or in a vehicle.

The employees were unharmed, officials said.

The man was described as Caucasian, between 18 and 30, between 5 feet 6 and 6 feet tall. A slit in the back of the suit displayed a black T-shirt with white writing.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Herriman Police Department at 801-858-0035.
