KANE COUNTY, UTAH – July 15, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – Kane County Sheriff’s Office has announced they have found a missing endangered man, 64-year-old Daniel Yohnke.

Officials said a local resident spotted him near the edge of a wooded area. He has been transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive.

KCSO deputies asked for the public’s assistance Monday in locating Yohnke. He was reported missing by his wife early that morning. It is believed that Yohnke walked away from the family home on Peppertree Lane in Elgin Township. He was believed to be on foot somewhere in the Elgin area.

KCSO deputies and K9 units searched the area but were unable to locate him. The Kane County Office of Emergency Management also responded to the area to help with the search.
