HERRIMAN, Utah, Nov. 20, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are looking for a man who is believed to have used a credit card some days after it was stolen during a robbery at a business in Herriman.

A news release from Herriman City Police Department says the robbery occurred Oct. 31, when a man, dressed in a full-body Spider-Man costume, entered the Salt City Sweet Shop, at 5136 W. 13400 South.

He brandished a handgun and “Taser”-type of weapon at the two clerks, got cash from the register and a back-room safe, and stole the business owner’s credit cards, the news release states.

One of the stolen credit cards was used in the following days at a Smith’s grocery store in West Jordan.

The police have obtained surveillance photos from Smith’s, showing a man who is believed to have used the stolen card.

He is described as a white male, possibly in his late 30s, with a slim build, scraggly brown hair and facial hair.

Anyone who recognizes this person or who has any information about the Salt City Sweet Shop robbery is asked to call Detective Brent Adamson at 801-871-3561 or Dispatch at 801-840-4000.
