SANDY, Utah, July 26, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — Sandy City police are looking for suspects after being dispatched to a fight in progress Sunday morning.
Officers responded just to the area of 222 W. Harrison St. shortly after 1 p.m.
“There were multiple people involved, and when we arrived, we were able to locate two people, which appeared to be more victims than suspects,” said Sgt. Michael Olsen, Sandy City PD.
“One of those people ended up having a what we believe was a kind of a smaller stab wound. That person was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.”
The suspects, described by victims as four Hispanic males, fled the scene before officers arrived, Olsen said.
“We were unable to locate them. And we have no further information on those suspects at this time, but we are working the we’re working the case to continue to try and figure out if we’re able to identify those suspects.”
