Police Search For Suspect Who Robbed Sandy Domino’s Pizza At Gunpoint

SANDY, Utah, May 6, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Sandy Police are searching for a suspect after an armed robbery Thursday afternoon at a Domino’s Pizza.

Sandy City Police spokesman Sgt. Dean Carriger said in a news release that the robbery took place at 2:50 p.m. the Sandy Domino’s Pizza at 8944 S. 700 East.

“The suspect entered the business and approached an employee at the counter,” the prepared statement said. “The suspect pulled a handgun from his waistband and demanded money.

“The suspect received an undisclosed amount of money and fled the business to the south on foot.”

The suspect was described as a white male, in his 40s, with gray facial hair and a thin to medium build. He was wearing a mesh hat, a white long sleeve shirt and blue jeans.
