Unified Police Search For Armed Robber In Fast Food Restaurant Heist
SALT LAKE COUNTY, UTAH – July 6 , 2015 (Gephardt Daily) –
Police are on the lookout for an armed robber who held up the Los Bertos Restaurant at 4199 South Redwood early Monday morning.
According to Unified Police Lt. John Barker, the lone gunman entered the restaurant through a side door around 12:21 a.m. before accosting one of the cooks.
Police say the robber brandished a black handgun and demanded cash. He then ran from restaurant and was last seen heading east toward 4200 South.
Officers from Unified Police, West Valley PD and Taylorsville Police were searching the area with K-9 units in hopes of catching the assailant.
Witnesses describe the robber as Caucasian, 6′ tall, with an average build.
He was last seen wearing a black shirt and black pants.
