GREEN RIVER, Utah, Jan. 11, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Utah Highway Patrol officials have identified the two drivers who lost their lives in a head-on collision on State Route 6 on Friday morning.

The deceased have been identified as Jim R. Nelson, 37, of Price, and William James T. Palmer, 33, of Moab.

The accident occurred at 7:25 a.m., when a westbound Ford F150 driven by Palmer and an eastbound Toyota Camry driven by Nelson collided near mile marker 296 near Green River, according to a UHP news release.
