USU Student Arrested for Allegedly Raping Multiple Women

LOGAN, UTAH – July 22, 2015  (Gephardt Daily) – Logan City Police Department arrested a man suspected in several rapes that appear to have occurred at a fraternity house over the last nine months.

According to investigators, 27-year-old Jason Brian Relopez has been arrested on seven counts of rape and is currently being held at the Cache County Jail on $140,000 Bail.

Logan City Police Department was contacted by a young woman who alleged several sexual assaults had occurred at the Sigma Chi Fraternity in Logan, Utah earlier this month. During the investigation they learned several other young women had made reports to victim services concerning Relopez.

Two more victims have since came forward and reported similar events.

Police say the reported incidents occurred between October 2014 and July 2015.
