WEST JORDAN, Utah, Nov. 4, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Two people are in custody and one is still being sought after a drive-by shooting Sunday night in the area of Luge Lane and 3400 West.

The incident happened just before 8 p.m.

Sgt. B. Turner, West Jordan Police Department, told Gephardt Daily that one round was fired into a garage, but no one was injured.

When officers later found the vehicle, the suspects drove a short distance and then ran off on foot in an attempt to avoid apprehension.

Turner said two people — a man and a woman — are now in custody and being questioned. Another man was able to evade police and is still being sought.

Police are not sure which of the car’s occupants fired the shot, and it’s too early in the investigation to know whether the incident is gang-related, Turner said.
