BRYCE CANYON NATIONAL PARK, Utah, June 9, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — Bryce Canyon National Park hosts its three day Astronomy Festival starting Thursday, and festival admission is free with park admission.
The park is known for its high elevation, clean air and remote location, which create some of the darkest skis in the country, the festival announcement says.
“As an International Dark Sky Park, you can see thousands of stars and the spectacular band of the Milky Way Galaxy shooting across the sky. Join us for the annual Astronomy Festival Thursday through Saturday.”
Tickets for each night’s speakers are available through the visitor’s center. Event admission is free to those who pay park admission.
“The telescope field will be open from 10 p.m. to midnight,” the announcement says. “Access to the telescope field is best with the Star Shuttle, with parking in Bryce Canyon City and shuttle to and from the telescope field during those hours.”
Bryce Canyon City can be reached from roadways including Interstate 15 and U.S. 89.
