Thanksgiving Point’s Annual Tulip Festival Enters It’s Final Week

LEHI, UTAH – May 4, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – It’s the final week for Thanksgiving Point’s annual Tulip Festival. More than a quarter-million tulips in more than 120 unique varieties will be spread across 55-acre gardens. This year, the Tulip Festival expanded to five weeks for the first time.

The Tulip Festival is one of the most popular events in Utah with more than 50,000 guests visiting last year. The tulip display is redesigned with tulips imported directly from Holland to create a new look each year.

In addition to the colorful flowers, the Thanksgiving Point Tulip Festival includes the following activities:

Garden Tours – Daily

Guests may tour the gardens with a guided expert at scheduled times each day during the festival exploring the 55-acre paradise. Included with Tulip Festival admission.

Family Activities in the Tulip Tot Playland – Weekends & Monday PM

Come enjoy games, crafts, bounce houses and more for the entire family. Tulip Tot Playland is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday nights through the Tulip Festival.

American Heritage Lyceum Orchestra – May 8

Join the award-winning American Heritage Lyceum Philharmonic and special guest Nathan Pacheco, Friday May 8th at 7:30 p.m. at the Thanksgiving Point Waterfall Amphitheatre. Enjoy an evening of beautiful music under the stars. Included with admission.

 Tulip Festival Photo Contest – April 10-May 9

Professional and amateur photographers are invited to submit their favorite shots from the 2014 Tulip Festival for a chance to win prizes and distinction. The grand prize is a $1,000 camera outfit courtesy of Allen’s Camera.

 Thanksgiving Point Tulip Festival hours are 9 a.m to 8 p.m., Monday-Saturday and closed Sundays. Admission is $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and children aged three to 12. Entrance is free to Thanksgiving Point Members and children under 2 years. Thanksgiving Point Gardens is located at 3900 N. Garden Dr., in Lehi, Utah.
