HOLLYWOOD July 14, 2016The 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — The 2016 National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) Emmy Award nominees were announced by Anthony Anderson and Lauren Graham.
After the announcement, some insiders were shocked at who the NATAS ‘snubbed.’
“The Good Wife’s” Julianna Margulies, Christine Baranski, or Alan Cumming were not nominated.
Aduba who stars as ‘Suzanne “Crazy Eyes” Warren’ on Orange Is the New Black, was left off the list for Best Supporting Actress.
Stephen Colbert was not named and neither was “Full Frontal” host Samantha Bee, even though she is only female late-night talk show host on the tube.
The award ceremony will be held on Sunday, September 18 at the Microsoft Theater with host Jimmy Kimmel. The awards show will be broadcast live on ABC.
