HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA – October 8, 2105 (Gephardt Daily) – Marvel Studios just announced their new film “Ant-Man and the Wasp,” starring Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/ Ant-Man and Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne/ The Wasp.
The new film will now become the first Marvel movie with the name of a female superhero in the title.
“Ant-Man and the Wasp” is scheduled for release in summer (July 6) 2018. The announced release date will push back Marvel’s “Black Panther,” starring Chadwick Boseman, to February 16, 2018.
Marvel Studios is also holding its release of “Captain Marvel“ to March 8, 2019. It was originally slated for November 2018.
“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” is in pre-production for its release date in May 2017. The film reunites Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Bradley Cooper and Dave Bautista as they save the universe once again.
Marvel has also announced 3 ‘mystery films’ which will premiere on May 1, 2020, July 10, 2020, and November 6, 2020. Exactly what those films are Marvel execs aren’t saying just yet.
