WASATCH COUNTY, Jan. 21, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — A fundraising account has been established for the stated purpose of raising money for the victim of a Sunday afternoon helicopter crash.
A call came to dispatch at about 3:10 p.m., a statement from the Wasatch County Sheriff‘s Office says. Crews located the downed craft about 100 yards off state Road 36, near the Wolf Creek Campground.
“Emergency responders were dispatched to the area, and located the helicopter,” the WCSO statement says.
“There were four occupants onboard at the time of the crash. One individual sustained critical injury, and was transported by AirMed to a hospital for treatment of a head injury. The remaining occupants were evaluated at the scene. The cause of the crash is under investigation.”
The GoFundMe account was established by Bailee Demars, who says her sister, Oaklee Toone, was the woman airlifted to a hospital with critical injuries. Their father, Kory Toone, was reportedly one of the other three aboard, along with the pilot and his wife, who are family friends.

Demars wrote, “I’m seeking support for my sister, Oaklee Toone, who was in a helicopter accident in the mountains on Jan. 18th with my father and two others. She was deemed in ‘critical condition’ onsite.”
Demars said Toone was airlifted to the University of Utah Hospital.
“She works tirelessly to provide for herself, and this head injury will prevent her from income for some time. The upcoming cost of her AirMed and medical bills are certainly stressful for her.”
