PAYSON, Utah, May 2, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — A bomb threat was reported Thursday at Mt. Nebo Middle School, becoming the fourth such threat in the past three weeks.
Police responded to the school at 851 W. 450 South and conducted a sweep of the building but found nothing suspicious, Nebo School District officials told Gephardt Daily.
“Based on the police’s direction, we did not evacuate the school,” district spokesman Seth Sorensen said. “We will continue to be vigilant in our efforts to provide safety to students and monitor the building throughout the day.”
It was the fourth bomb threat at the school in the past three weeks, though none have been credible, district officials said.
