MIDVALE, Utah, June 1, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — A 17-year-old girl is in extremely critical condition after she was struck by a vehicle near 7720 S. Grant St., in Midvale, according to information from the Unified Police Department.
The Ford driver believed to have hit the teen is an 85-year-old woman, according to a UPD tweet.
The girl, who was in a crosswalk at the time of the accident, has been transported to a nearby hospital. A CAR team is at the scene, investigating circumstances of the accident.
Eastbound Center Street and Grant Street in Midvale will be closed to traffic during the investigation.
