TOOELE COUNTY, Utah, May 20, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — High winds in Tooele County blew over two tractor-trailers on Interstate 80 Friday afternoon.
Utah Highway Patrol said in a news release that two semis were eastbound I-80 near mile post 84 at approximately 5:15 p.m. Within about five minutes, both semis were blown over, blocking I-80.
Traffic was diverted off exit 84 for about two hours until the tractor-trailers could be moved enough to open one lane of travel.
Police said there were minor injuries after the crashes, and a small amount of engine oil was also spilled.
