The Royal baby’s name has finally been revealed: Charlotte Elizabeth Diana
Kensington Palace announced thenewborn‘s name, whose full title is, Her Royal Highness Charlotte Elizabeth Diana of Cambridge, on Twitter Monday morning.
On Saturday May 2 at 8:34 a.m., Kate Middleton gave birth to the 8-pound 3-ounce baby girl. Princess Charlotte is fourth in line to the British throne, after her grandfather, Prince Charles; her father, Duke of Cambridge William; and her brother, Prince George.
The name Elizabeth is after her great grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II and her third name, Diana, is a tribute to the royal baby’s late grandmother, Princess Diana, who was killed in a tragic car accident in 1997.
