CARBON COUNTY, Utah, July 21, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — The Carbon County Sheriff’s Office announced Friday night that 9 Mile Canyon road is closed from milepost 23 to milepost 47.
The closure is because of flooding in the area that has carried debris into most of the low water crossings.
The Facebook post says the county road shop is working on getting the road open, and they anticipate that it will be reopened by 8:00 a.m. Saturday. In the meantime, everyone is asked to avoid the area.
