LOS ANGELES, Sept. 14 (UPI) — Blake Lively recently offended Taylor Swift fans by poking fun at the singer’s “Bad Blood” music video.
The 28-year-old actress shared a photo of herself with singer John Legend, mode lKarlie Kloss and several other celebrities on Instagram, and referenced Swift’s star-studded music video in the caption.
“…soooo, turns out this WASN’T a video shoot for John Legend’s cover of Bad Blood,” she joked. “@lorealparisofficial blew it out for this one. My #pinkobsession is exposed now. Ok your turn. I won’t tell! #AlsoTurnsOutJohnLegendIsntCoveringBadBlood Time to start a petition!”
Swift’s video features Kloss, Cara Delevingne, Gigi Hadid and a number of other stars who are friends with the singer. The pop star is known for her close “squad” of model, singer and actress pals, and Swift fans took umbrage at Lively’s perceived slight.
“Umm whoever thought I was throwin shade clearly doesn’t know I have a ‘Taylor Swift Please Be My Wife Voo Doo Doll,'” the actress later wrote in response. “#obsessed Look how rad she is here making my niece Heather feel like a rock star.”
“Love my Canadian family almost as much as I love Taylor Lively,” she captioned thephoto of Swift with her niece. “I mean Swift. Ok, FIIINE we can hyphenate our last names. Xo Blake Swift-Lively 4 eva.”
Lively is best known for portraying Serena van der Woodsen on The CW series Gossip Girl, which came to a close after six seasons in 2012. The actress last appeared in The Age of Adaline, and is scheduled for Woody Allen‘s new movie with Kristen Stewart.
