LOS ANGELES, June 1 (UPI) — Amber Heard‘s finances have been revealed in new court documents filed in ongoing divorce litigation between the actress and husband Johnny Depp.
The documents, obtained by Us Weekly, show that Heard made $259,876 in 2015, but after expenses, including for health insurance, car insurance and more than $31,000 paid to her agent, only pocketed $51,461.
They also show how much money she was paid for her roles in “The Danish Girl” ($31,112), “Paranoia” ($45,314) and “Magic Mike XXL” ($65,000). Other earnings reportedly included $120,000 from Tiffany & Co. and $50,000 from Bulgari.
The actress is asking for $50,000 a month in spousal support from Depp.
New photos produced as evidence of Heard’s alleged abuse at the hands of Depp, the star of “Alice Through The Looking Glass,” show the actress’ facial injuries, including an apparent bruised eye and cut lip. The photos were obtained by People magazine.
Depp and Heard have been a couple for about four years and have been married for one. In her claim, the actress said “Johnny has been verbally and physically abusive to me,” throughout the course of their relationship.
Amber Heard filed for divorce from Depp last week and was subsequently granted a domestic violence restraining order against the actor, saying he had physically abused her. The actress appeared in court Friday with a bruise around her right eye.
After news of the couple’s split broke, a representative of Depp released a statement saying: “Given the brevity of this marriage and the most recent and tragic loss of his mother, Johnny will not respond to any of the salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies about his personal life.”
Depp’s teenage daughter, Lily-Rose Depp, has also weighed in on her family’s public turmoil, saying in an Instagram post: “My dad is the sweetest most loving person I know, he’s been nothing but a wonderful father to my little brother and I, and everyone who knows him would say the same.”
The divorce papers were filed just days after Depp’s mother, Betty Sue, died at the age of 81.
