MYRTLE BEACH, S.C., Aug. 5 (UPI) — Jenelle Evans and Nathan Griffith ended their engagement for a second time in July.
The 23-year-old reality star revealed she split from her fiancé two weeks ago in an interview with Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday. The pair had been engaged since January, and broke up after Griffith allegedly argued with Evans over him not being able to go out.
“I’m enjoying being a mom,” the star said of her post-split life. “I just celebrated my first son [Jace’s] sixth birthday this weekend and it went fantastic. I am not looking to date anyone at the moment. I am focusing on myself.”
Evans had alluded to the breakup earlier in the week, tweeting, “I’m so glad I’m as strong as I am. Despite everything I can wipe way my tears and focus on me and got a great workout! #StayFocused.” She also posted the Finding Nemo quote “Just keep swimming.”
Evans and Griffith share 13-month-old son Kaiser, and the reality star is mother to Jace with ex-boyfriend Andrew Lewis. She and Griffith had a volatile relationship, and were arrested for separate incidents of alleged domestic violence in the past year.
