New start Iron Fire estimated at 1K acres north of Eureka

JUAB COUNTY, June 20, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — A new wildfire first reported at about midnight Saturday morning has burned an estimated 1,000 acres.

The Iron Fire is burning in portions of Juab County, Utah County and Tooele County, according to a Saturday morning news release from Utah Fire Info.

“No structures are currently threatened,” the statement says.

“Multiple ground resources were engaged overnight, with additional firefighters and air resources arriving this morning. The fire is human-caused and remains under investigation.”
