PARK CITY, Utah, April 1, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — A Park City man has been arrested in connection to an armed robbery of his former employer on Easter Sunday.
Police in Park City took 46-year-old Christopher Schutte into custody on Thursday at the Kimball Junction Hampton Inn. Police say he was wanted on suspicion of robbing Flanagan’s Irish Pub & Restaurant located at 438 Main St. in Park City at about 10:30 a.m. on March 24.
Investigators believe Schutte, a former employee of Flanagan’s who was fired a year and a half ago, threatened a bartender with a gun, locked him in a freezer and stole several bottles of expensive wine.
Flanagan’s had offered a $5,000 reward for anyone who could identify the suspect and police said tips from the public helped lead them to Schutte. He has now been booked into the Summit County Jail on charges of aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary.
