NORTH OGDEN, Utah. Nov. 15, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — It was an emotional Wednesday for thousands of Utahns as they paid their respects to fallen North Ogden mayor and Army National Guard officer Brent Taylor.
Taylor, 39, was killed Nov. 3, 2018, in an “insider attack” while on deployment in Kabul, Afghanistan.
On Wednesday, his body was returned to his beloved Utah, carried by military transport plane from Dover Air Force Base in Delaware to Salt Lake City, where it was escorted by a multi-force police motorcade to a mortuary in Ogden.
