MIDVALE, Utah, Sept, 24, 2025 (Gephardt Daily) — The Unified Police Department has identified the woman and man found deceased after what investigators believe was a murder-suicide in Midvale.
They were Eilleen Lyon, 65, and Terry Lyon, 63.
The two were found in their residence, near 7500 S. Jefferson, after a caller requested a welfare check. UPD officers were notified at 11:13 a.m. Tuesday, and gained access to the house, where they found the two, deceased.
“There is no known history of domestic violence at this residence, and both individuals resided at the address,” the UPD news release says.
“We extend our deepest condolences to their family and friends. Further information will be released as it becomes available.”
