SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah, March 12, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — A man who hit a number of parked cars in South Salt Lake had after suffering a medical issue Monday after was revived by paramedics after initially being found in “dire” condition, officials said.
South Salt Lake Police spokesman Sgt. Gary Keller told Gephardt Daily the elderly man was driving in the area of 2778 S. State St. at approximately 3:30 p.m.
The driver suffered a medical issue, the specifics of which have not been released, and hit a number of parked cars.
Keller said that when emergency medical crews arrived, the man was unresponsive and in “dire, grim condition,” but paramedics were able to revive him and he was transported to an area hospital.
No one else was injured as a result of the incident, Keller said.
