With Walt Disney World and the Disneyland Resort each setting the all-time quarterly attendance records the revenue for the quarter segment, which ended Dec. 27, 2015, rose nine percent to $3.9 billion as attendance at the company’s California and Florida parks climbed seven percent. Even with the measles outbreak linked to Disney’s Southern California theme parks, their attendance still is soaring.

Earlier this month it was stated by Bob Iger CEO in an interview with CNBC that the company was seeing no discernible impact on attendance or bookings from the outbreak, which was revealed last month. More than 70 people in California, including six Disneyland employees and about two dozen others in six states, Mexico and Canada have been sickened in the outbreak.
