New Teaser Trailer for ‘The X-Files’ Just Released
WASHINGTON, July 8 (UPI) — Fox has released a 40-second teaser trailer of the new “X-Files” event series coming in January.
While the teaser doesn’t show much, the network is using it to announce it will air all 201 original episodes in order leading up to the event date.
The six episode event series brings back David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson in their original roles. CBS News reports Joel McHale would guest star and Mitch Pileggi will return to his original role as Walter Skinner.
While Fox has not released further details on the upcoming series, the 201 episodes began airing on July 7 and will continue into the new year.
It will air on Fox starting on Jan. 24, 2016.
