Taylor Swift Performs On ‘The Voice’ and a Much-Loved Singer Says Goodbye
“I scare myself.” — Taylor Swift.
Bottom 3 singers
Reagan James
Song: “I’m Like a Bird” by Nelly Furtado
This was not her best performance. During the performance, Blake certainly didn’t look amused. But he complimented her in his comments after the song. “The thing that I love about Reagan is the fact that she just turned 16 a couple weeks ago. The fact that she is strong enough and brave enough to be different, that’s what I admire the most,” he says. “You have a friend for life in me.” Aww!
Anita Antoinette
Song: “The Remedy” by Jason Mraz
This was not her best performance, either. It was a strange song for Anita to select for her last attempt to be saved instantly. We’ve been a fan of this singer from the beginning, but her performances this week weren’t her strongest. Regardless, she’s still super cool. As Gwen said: “You are an incredible person. You have something really deep inside you. You care so much about music and about life. I’ve learned so much from you. I know you do worry and you care so much, and that’s what makes a great artist.”
Ryan Sill
Song: “Collide” by Howie Day
Hey, that was pretty good! This is two weeks in a row that Ryan has been in the bottom three, but after this performance, we think he should stick around. Like the coaches said last night, he has really grown throughout this season, and perhaps he’ll continue to improve. Carson commented that the ladies love Ryan, and Gwen specifically so. “Ryan, you deserve to be here. You are an incredible singer. You are a beautiful person. Please save this guy,” she pleads. Well, if you say so!
Who was saved? Ryan Sill, with 47% of the votes
It’s sad to see Anita go because she was one of the more unique singers this year. We hope Ryan can continue to improve and America won’t regret saving him two weeks in a row.
