HURRICANE, Utah, June 8, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — One person sustained minor injuries in a car fire Saturday afternoon.
Crews responded about 3 p.m. to reports of a car on fire inside a garage, Hurricane Valley Fire and Rescue stated on social media.
“Fire units were able to arrive on scene and quickly extinguish the fire in the car that had been moved out of the garage,” the post says.
“The owner of the vehicle had been working on the car, and then the fire started shortly afterward. Luckily, some bystanders came to help the owner move the car out of the garage before it extended to the structure.”
One person was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
