Three Salt Lake Schools Go On Lockdown After Students Hear ‘Loud Bang’

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Jan. 7, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) ─ The lockdowns at three Salt Lake City schools instigated after students heard a “loud bang” have been lifted after police cleared the area.

The SLC School District said on Twitter that Mountain View Elementary, Glendale Middle School and the Community Learning Center were put on lockdown as a precaution at 1 p.m. Thursday.

Police were called to investigate but found there was no threat to the schools.
