OGDEN, Utah, Aug. 11, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Police in Ogden are investigating a report of shots fired Thursday morning near Ben Lomond High School.
Officers responded to the area of 900 9th St. Thursday at approximately 7 a.m., according to a prepared statement from Lt. Nate Cline. Ben Lomond High School is located at 1080 9th St.
Upon arrival, officers discovered several spent shell casings in the roadway, the news release said. Investigating officers also discovered the involved persons had left the scene prior to officers arriving.
The investigation is still ongoing, Cline said, and the names of the involved persons are not being released at this time, due to the ongoing investigation.
