OREM, Utah, June 20, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Two Orem homes were evacuated Tuesday afternoon due to a two-alarm, 3.5 acre brush fire.
The fire occurred near 1200 E. Center St., according to a 6 p.m. tweet from the Orem Fire Department.
The fire is not threatening any structures, according to a follow-up tweet at 6:20 p.m. The blaze is out, but crews are working on hot spots, and two homes remain evacuated.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire, the tweet added.
