SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, April 29, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — A minor multi-vehicle collision led to a dramatic rollover Wednesday afternoon, but no serious injuries.
One car had to be stabilized so a woman could be helped out an upward facing side door, but no one had to be transported, Detective Michael Ruff, Salt Lake City Police, told Gephardt Daily.
“Cars flip very easily,” Ruff said.
“People don’t realize that they’re actually the safest crash you can be in if you’re wearing your seatbelt. That’s why we don’t get very many injuries out of them, unless somebody’s not wearing their seatbelt.”
The incident happened at about noon, on 700 East near 500 South, near Trolley Square. And everybody was wearing their seatbelt.
