UTAH COUNTY, Utah, Dec. 26, 3018 (Gephardt Daily) — An SUV and car collided Wednesday night near the Lehi/Saratoga Springs border, sending two people to the hospital in critical condition.
The accident was called in at 5:55 p.m., Chief Kim Beck, Lehi Fire Department, told Gephardt Daily. The vehicles were involved in a T-bone accident, with one hitting the side of the other, at the intersection of 2300 South and Pioneer Crossing.
The two men, both in their mid-30s, were critically injured, Beck said. They were transported to Intermountain Medical Center in Murray in separate helicopters.
No one traveling in the SUV was injured, Beck said.
Because of the location of the accident, police and fire crews from both Lehi and Saratoga Springs responded to the scene, which is now cleared, Beck said.
Gephardt Daily will update this story as more information becomes available.
