LAS VEGAS, Aug. 19 (UPI) — An HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopter crashed at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada, injuring four crew members, U.S. military officials said.

Nellis AFB confirmed the crash occurred at 10 p.m. Thursday during a training mission at its Nevada Test and Training range, but gave no details regarding the cause. The crew members were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

The Nellis statement said a safety investigation was underway.

The incident came a day after an A-4 Skyhawk fighter plane, privately contracted to Draken International, crashed at the air base near Las Vegas. The pilot safely ejected.
