SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, July 12, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — The summer league schedule is over for Utah Jazz guard Keyonte George and center Walker Kessler.

Both players saw action in two of the three games at this week’s Salt Lake City Summer League but were left off the roster as the Jazz head to Las Vegas for the NBA 2K25 Summer League, which got underway Friday.

The roster is otherwise unchanged as Utah prepares to take on the Dallas Mavericks at 8:30 p.m. Saturday at UNLV’s Cox Pavilion. The game will be televised by NBA TV.

George, the No. 16 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, was dominant in his two games at the Delta Center, averaging 30.5 points, 4.5 assists and three rebounds per game.

Kessler, the No. 22 overall pick in 2022, averaged seven points, 10.5 rebounds and three blocks per game in the two games.

The Jazz’s 2024 NBA Draft picks — Cody Williams (No. 10), Isaiah Collier (No. 29) and Kyle Filipowski (No. 32) — are among the 14 players on Utah’s roster in Las Vegas. They’re joined by 2023 NBA Draft picks Taylor Hendricks (No. 9) and Brice Sensabaugh (No. 28).

Assistant coach Sean Sheldon remains head coach of the Jazz in Las Vegas after posting a 2-1 record in Salt Lake City Summer League.

Utah will play at least five games at the NBA 2K25 Summer League, which features all 30 teams and runs through July 22 when a champion will be crowned. Games will be played at UNLV’s Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion.

Here are the Jazz’s other scheduled matchups in Las Vegas:

Monday: Utah at Sacramento, 8 p.m. (ESPNU)
Wednesday: Utah vs. Toronto, 3 p.m. (ESPN2)
Thursday: Utah vs. L.A. Clippers, 8 p.m. (NBA TV)

After all summer league squads play four games, the top four teams will advance to the playoffs, beginning with a semifinal doubleheader at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. MDT Sunday, July 21, on ESPN.

The two winning teams from the semifinal games will meet in the championship game at 7 p.m. Monday, July 22, on ESPN.

The 26 teams that do not advance to the playoffs will play a fifth game on Saturday, July 20, or Sunday, July 21.
