TEL AVIV, Israel, May 8, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — At least four people were killed and six others wounded Wednesday night in a shooting at one of Tel Aviv’s most popular market places.
Israeli police spokesman Mickey Rosenfeld said in a Twitter post that two “terrorists” were captured and that one of them had been shot by police.
The shootings took place at the upscale Sarona Market at about 11 p.m. That would have been about 2 p.m. Mountain Time.
Police said the gunmen – believed to be from the town of Yatta in the Palestinian territories – were dressed as hasidic Jews at the time of the attacks.
